Pop art_ the end point for mordenism

Pop art is the movement that mark the boundary between the end of modernism and the begining of post-modernism. From there, the boundaries of high art and low art was broken. The definiton of orignal art works will be outday and extinct but the copy or mass production of art work are servival of them. The Pop and media role was summarized with Warhol's famous quotation:" In the future everybody will be world famous for fifteen minutes".

There are some differences between the Pop Art in England and United States. The Bristist Pop art were particularly intrigued by American automobile design which has the emphasis on "planned obsolescence," the intentional production of goods that would soon require replacement. British Pop artists had optimistic point of view. They had worked with various forms of direct action - assemblages and happenings rather than comics or AD. In Britain popular culture and technology was just the subject of the popular art. The Amarican Pop art reproduced, duplicated, combined, overlaid and arranged the endless visual details that make up American society, introducing shifts and transformations and acting like commentaries

Andy Warhol is famous artist of Pop art. The media call him the Prince of Pop. He broke the old rule of old art: orignal adn subjective. His view of art is "Making money is art, and working is art and good business is the best art." In his product, he used some existed media work to play with them, the very first is the phtotgraph og Marilyn. Then there were the mass prodcution like Campbell Soup cans and Coke bottles

Own ideas about the concept of viral marketing in adverteing

In the last presentation about viral marketing, I saw some ad of students in class. I am really confused about the viral maketing concept after watching these ad. Most of them showed and talk about the product literately. As the definition of maketing concept. After seeing each ad, I tried to find what;s the feeling in this ad except the product. Howerver, I can't. In this blog, I weant to show some ideas which I found on the internet an my own ideas about the viral marketing. It is just my own ideas. There is no right or wrong anserwer. Let's suppose it is the dicussion. If you have any ideas. Please feel free express in my blog.
Marketing is the effective tool to encourage the people to pass along the marketing message. It is really like to spreading the virus (marketing message) to the computer (public). Like the mythical Trojan Horse, a virus presents itself as an innocuous visitor, but contains a force that attacks and overcomes its host. It's just that a virus is a Trojan Horse that goes on to create more Trojan Horses, conquering hosts exponentially as it spreads
If a large percentage of recipients forward something to a large number of friends, the overall growth snowballs very quickly. If the pass-along numbers get too low, the overall growth quickly fizzles.
Today, the viral marketing is build base on the every kind of form such as game, website, survey online, poster with image. In may opinion, good advertise for viral marketing is not that it have to tell or exaggerate the product or service. If you only do that, this advertise is just the cliché. Nobody belive you. Nobody remember your product or service. You absolutely lose. Therefore, the every kinds of viral marketing, especifucly the advertise, it has to create the deep feeling for the viewer. Any feeling can raise their suol up and down. Any story about anythings can create true and unforgetable feeling. Therefore, the product will be automatic to remmembered and spreaded widely by word of mouth of public.
In the ad of Bravia product, The idea is very simple. The color water bleed in every where. Howerver, It is succesful to create the firgurative sense about the important part of TV : colour. The spectacular scene create the effective feeling about the world of full color. Very simple but very effective. (http://youtube.com/watch?v=PS5RLz8jTaM)
I also tried the interesting site of Motorola. In the site, viewers can use any color to create the thoer own art with the abundant shape in each color. Greate interaction lead to great feeling and experience. All of them cause the deep rememmber about the product of Motorola. Try it, you will has your own art image and deep feeling about the world of motorola with full colors.

The secret of bule square

Servador logo of Paul Rand was simple and powerful. It was staged inside a box for impact and Rand used a shining light for the purpose of uniting the top and bottom letters. The use of Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black was an obvious nod to the printing industry. As part of the original program, solid red, green, blue and gray versions were also available for use.
Servador launched in 1999. From the Servador's original website: "Servador is an Internet-based, business-to-business print buying and management company that saves corporations time, resources and money off of their current print spend."
In late 2002, a decision was made to restructure and rebrand Servador. Doug Evans would also step away from the company he built
Eventually, the all-blue version was adopted as the primary logo for Servador.

The blue square become out of date in the logo design. There are too many blue square . The Bule square is also shape and even the name of logo with many company and braches.

In November of 2003, Servador officially became Printvision, making not a single wave in the design community.

Paul Rand and his logos

Paul Rand is one of the most famous designers of logo. His strongest talence is to explain and create the corporated logo with his identities. Therefore, we can see it all of his products such as IBM, UPS, ABC, Yale university press, etc. His style is influence much on the modernized design. In IBM logo, IBM logo in 1956, which as Mark Favermann notes “was not just an identity but a basic design philosophy that permeated corporate consciousness and public awareness." Although his logos may be interpreted as simplistic, Rand was quick to point out in A Designer’s Art that “ideas do not need to be esoteric to be original or exciting.". His point about the logo design is that "one logo cannot survive unless it is designed with the utmost simplicity and restraint". In the NeXT computer logo, Rand’s simplistic black box breaks the company name into two lines, producing a visual harmony that endeared the logogram to Jobs.

Good experiences in screenplay for scene

http://www.bigspaceship.com/archive/thegrudge/

This is one interesting website I have experienced. This is the site to introduce the horror film: The grudge. This site gives me many experience and solution for the problems which

I had in my current project in Dim3. I love the way the site divide the scene. The designers are very clever when they create the scene play. The view of scene through the room is very logical. The clever points are the use of brightness and contrast. The darkness is put in photograph to create the horrible feeling.

Moreover, the darkness also can hide the gap between some images in the room_ the clever and skillful hide.

This is the main scene; it leads to three main places the event happened. I have marked red lines in three places. As you see the navigation is cleaver designed. It doesn’t take the photographers much time to set the scene even give the logical views.

This is the scene upstairs. As you see, there are 4 places, the darkness hide some gap between them. However, we still see the logical views. We can see the view of the place down stair which we have just pass. In fact, this is just the join many photograph to create one united view. Through this site, I have many precious experiences in screen play.

Useful tutorial for changing photograph into painting

1. Begin with a Photo.
If you like, you can right click on this image and use it. Bear in mind that the effect will appear different on images of different sizes. A larger image will produce finer lines.
The shadows are plugged up in this image so we will fix that right away.
2

If you have Photoshop CS or Photoshop Elements 3 Choose image>Adjustments>Shadow Highlight Move the amount slider as high as it will go. The image may look a little too bright in places but that doesn't matter. If you are using Photoshop 7 or less, choose the curves or levels setting to brighten the image.

3

Choose Filter>Stylize>Find Edges
All the edges will now become outlined. The color has gone a bit funky though. We'll fix that and finish the effect in the nex step.
4

Choose Edit>Fade Find Edges (This option will only be avaliable at this point, if you do anything else between Find Edges andd Fade, you won't be able to do this)
5

Change the blending mode to Luminosity. This will restore the colors (Don't close the dialog yet)
Here we have the image so far, with the original colors restored.
We will now blend this image with the original to get the result.
6

Reduce the Opacity slider until you are happy with the result.
I used 33 for this image.Click ok to apply
There you have it, in 3 easy steps we
have created a classic.

(I got this toturial from the
http://www.photoshopcafe.com/tutorials/sketch/sketch.htm)
You can play more stuff in the step 5, 6. You will have more fun , useful effects. It may be helpful for the project of Dim in the editing image process.

I got this scare, evil effect by change to exclusion mode in step5.
